Naval Architect Jobs, Ship & Offshore Structures Engineer, QA-Safety Engineer vacancies with GustoMSC Netherlands

Engineer-Naval Architecture:experienced in naval architectural design discipline,responsible for the design and analysis of offshore units such as drillships,crane,pipelay vessels,wind turbine installation vessels and floating production units.The type of units to be designed can be monohull vessels,semi-submersible units,jack-ups or any arbitrary or innovative hull shape.MSc or BSc degree in naval architecture or hydrodynamics and, as a senior engineer.competent in all aspects of the naval architectural discipline, and have a thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations and requirements for offshore units.Knowledge of stability and design software (SeaSafe or PIAS,Rhinoceros 3D).Electrical Engineer:design of large electrical power generation and distribution systems for offshore oil and gas systems e.g. FPSO’s, jack-up barges, heavy lift/pipe-lay vessels and drilling vessels.Technical knowledge of (HV) power generation is preferred;experience in electrical engineering for the offshore oil & gas industry is self-evident.Ship&Offshore Structures Engineer:Naval Architecture or alternatively a Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace background.4 years experience in shipbuilding or offshore structural engineering, with a focus on hull structures. You are familiar with classification society rules and software (e.g. Nauticus Hull, SafeHull), have experience with Finite Element Analysis (preferably FEMAP/ NASTRAN), buckling analysis and fatigue analysis of plate structures, and has knowledge of wave induced loads on buoyant structures.
